Invitation
The
South African Colliery Engineers’ Association is very proud to announce that it
will host its second Technical Symposium on the 12th April 2006 at
the Emalahleni Civic Centre in Witbank at 08:00
for 08:30. We also believe it to be appropriate to have technical
presentations aligned with the theme “Value adding through technological
innovation!” This will reemphasise SACEA’s vision “To be a professional,
dynamic, value-adding and influential body in our industry”. With the highly
competitive environment globalisation brought about, we believe that engineers
have a major role to play to ensure long term techno-economic viability of the
companies we are employed by.
The
time has come to share technological innovation and learnings we have
experienced over the past years which will take us into the future; better
prepared to face the challenges we will be confronted with. This will not only
ensure long term techno-economic viability for our companies but also growth sustainability,
which will have a positive impact on the well being of our country,
It
is our pleasure to invite you to participate in what promises to be an exiting
and fruitful event, ensuring many positive take-aways, which will add value to
your business. In the spirit of value adding and technological innovation, the
symposium is being organised by SACEA’s organising committee. The symposium will provide delegates with
an opportunity to engage and experience. We wish to engage all persons
involved with mining, particularly line managers who believe they can make a
difference. Experience by sharing, networking, seeing and hearing of value
adding and technological innovation in action!
